Wifi is like water these days: we can’t live without it!
Many establishments are offering free Wifi- McDonald’s, Starbucks, gas stations, car service centers, and more. They know their customers want (read: need) the wifi so they don’t have to use data on their phones.
It may come as a surprise to you that Wifi devices emit microwave radiation. Yes, the same radiation that microwaves use to cook your food is being emitted from your cell phone, computer, and wireless router.
So what’s the big deal?
This radiation can cause numerous effects that you may attribute to something else. Things like headaches, lethargy, fatigue, insomnia to name a few.
Other negative effects of this radiation include:
disrupted cellular development
reduced brain activity
increased heart rate
brain fog and memory loss
The World Health Organization has classified Wifi radiation as a Class 2B Carcinogen. Other Class 2B Carcinogens include lead, DDT, and gasoline. Not good.
An easy way to limit your Wifi radiation exposure is to turn off your wireless router at night. Simply push the on/off button when you’re done using the internet for the day. Or, get a simple timer you can connect to the router and have it automatically turn off at a certain time each night.
This will allow your body to better repair and restore itself while you sleep. The radiation exposure can inhibit this process, so help yourself out and turn off that Wifi!
