I hope you’ve enjoyed learning about useful Daily Detox Strategies you can add into your routine to help your body detoxify.
Unfortunately, just adding in the Daily Detox Strategies each day isn’t always enough to get your body processes back in order. Most crash diets, detoxes and juice cleanses work (for a short time) not just because you’re drinking some special juice or eating a special meal. Their effectiveness is due in large part because of what you don’t eat during that time.
Now that you know about several strategies to add in to your lifestyle, here are a few things to cut out when trying to detox:
Cutting out packaged and processed foods (sugars, dairy, grains, etc.), gives your body a break. These foods (even the ones promoted as “health” foods), put strain on the digestive system and make your body work harder to detoxify.
Focus on whole foods like fresh vegetables, meat, good fats, and some fruit. These foods feed your body with the nutrients it needs to run properly and efficiently, which allows it to detoxify as it is supposed to, clearing toxins throughout the day.
We’d love to hear from you! Tell us which strategies you’ve implemented and how you’ve benefitted from them.
