It’s that time of year- everyone is thinking about spring cleaning, not just for the house, but also for the body.
Cue the detox!
At the basic level, detoxing means clearing your body of stored toxins. These toxins come from our environment, personal care products, and the food we consume. Our body has natural ways of removing toxins- through sweat, urine, breathing, and eliminations – but sometimes we need to give it a bit of help.
While we don’t recommend any extreme detox diets, which only include juice or water for a period of time, we do highly encourage you to practice daily detox strategies. These, along with a diet rich in Pure Foods, will help alleviate that brain fog, pesky joint pain, and fatigue.
